- Wintertime Storm Inga brought parts of the South their fourth dose of snow and ice this winter.
- Snowfall and sleet were reported in the western Florida Panhandle for the third time this season.
- Upwards to a foot of snow was measured in portions of the E, even as far south as Due north Carolina.
- The Midwest too saw snow from Inga.
Winter Tempest Inga brought a mess of snow and ice to parts of the Midwest, South and East January. xiv-17, 2018. The worst impacts were in the Due south where Inga snarled travel and caused hundreds of accidents.
After Inga finished its journey, snow and sleet covered the ground in parts of all 50 states on Jan. 17.

Snow was reported every bit far south as Panama Urban center and Destin, Florida, early on Jan. 17, and sleet accumulated on vehicle tops and grassy areas in Pensacola, Florida, overnight Jan. 16-17. This was the 3rd snow consequence of the winter in northern Florida.

Inga's Northeast Recap
Inga was a minor to locally moderate snow issue for much of the Northeast region.
A low-cal dusting of snow blanketed the Washington D.C. metro surface area, which amounted to 0.4 inches at Reagan-National Airport, while the New York City metro area saw a mix of low-cal rain and snow. Officially, Primal Park reported 0.4 inches of snow, but Newark measured an inch.
Other parts of the Northeast had picked upwards over 6 inches of snowfall, including E Machias, Maine (11 inches), Stockbridge, Massachusetts (11 inches), Rosendale, New York (10 inches), Loysville, Pennsylvania (9.5 inches), Dover, New Hampshire (8 inches), Canaan, Connecticut (7 inches), and Wantage, New Bailiwick of jersey (vi.4 inches).
Inga's Midwest Epitomize
An intense lake-enhanced band of snowfall hammered Wisconsin's Doore Canton peninsula with over a human foot of snowfall Jan. 14-15.
